Trauma and Abuse Treatment

For those whose lives have been rocked by trauma, we understand that living through a traumatic event can be a deeply personal, oftentimes isolating, event. Whether having experienced trauma on an ongoing basis, such as living through childhood verbal, physical and/or sexual abuse, domestic violence or bullying or through an extraordinary event such as a natural disaster, participation in war, or rape, trauma is a life-altering occurrence.

And, while there is oftentimes very little control over the circumstances which surrounded your trauma, trained trauma specialists know that what significantly affects your ability to heal from trauma, is being able to eventually feel a sense of control over how you respond to your trauma.

“My trust in Dr. Ashley led to EMDR …We processed this late in life discovery of trauma and it doesn’t drive my life anymore, subconsciously or consciously.”
— Age 57
