Coleen Wooten, LPC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, substance use, trauma, anxiety, and depression. She has extensive experience treating adolescents and adults at all levels of care, including inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient therapy. She enjoys working with individuals, families, and groups, and skillfully utilizes many modalities to create a personalized approach for each client.
Coleen is dedicated to supporting her clients on their unique journeys to achieving wellness of mind, body, and spirit. Towards this goal, she utilizes a compassionate, strength-based approach to create a safe, encouraging therapeutic environment. Drawing from evidence-based models like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-based therapy, Coleen effectively creates a foundation of knowledge to help clients develop insight, overcome obstacles, and make lasting changes.
Coleen earned her Masters in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University and her Bachelors degree from Arizona State University.
