Patricia D. Raya, PhD, LPC, 
is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in the treatment of eating disorders; emotional eating; body image; stress and trauma healing; relationship and communication problems; depression; anxiety; grief and loss; process addictions; and life transitions among adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Dr. Raya brings a unique background that blends together 40 years experience as an educator, corporate leader/entrepreneur, leadership consultant, and mindfulness coach to strengthen her interpersonal and clinical skills. She works collaboratively to help patients enlist their strengths and courage to quiet their inner critic, to love the unlovable within, and to discover their wholehearted self.

Dr. Raya is dedicated to helping her clients on their journey toward healing, wellness, and personal growth that supports their unique values, genuine empowerment, and meaningful change. Dr. Raya is trained in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) and integrates cognitive, behavioral, and emotion-focused tools and interventions to support patients as they learn to live healthier, happier, and more meaningful lives. She works collaboratively with individuals, couples and families to help maximize the successful culmination of clients’ therapeutic goals. Dr. Raya welcomes the opportunity to work with individuals from all cultures and sexual orientations.

Dr. Raya earned her Ph.D. from Saybrook University in Humanistic Psychology and her Masters in Clinical Mental Health from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
