Telehealth
A New Beginning is proud to offer Telehealth therapy as a wonderfully convenient option for high-quality treatment from the comfort of your own home (or office, vacation spot, car, etc!).
Telehealth therapy is delivered through our HIPAA-compliant video platform that allows both the client(s) and the clinician to “meet” on-screen at the same time for an emotionally secure therapeutic video connection that is convenient and extraordinarily effective!
When necessary, we can also conduct a teleheath therapy session over the telephone.
The Many Benefits of Telehealth
Some of the many benefits to a virtual therapy session include:
- No drive-time before and after your appointment
- Multiple family members can attend the same session despite being in different locations
- Continuation of sessions while traveling
- Access to high-quality, specialized care despite living in a rural or remote part of the state
But is Telehealth effective?
We often get asked, “Is Telehealth effective?”
Our answer? A resounding, “Yes!”
While our treatment team asked this same question at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we were quickly and pleasantly surprised to experience the immense value that virtual therapy provides our clients.
Rest assured, whether in-person or over the computer, our clinical team is incredibly skilled at establishing and maintaining a supportive therapeutic relationship and guiding you through the deep inner work that will bring you to lasting change. In fact, for some people, Telehealth is even more effective than in-person treatment because they feel more comfortable doing their therapeutic work from the familiar and private space of their own home.
Because of its incredible effectiveness, we are thrilled to add Telehealth to our comprehensive permanent services available to clients.
Serving Clients Throughout the United States
One of the most rewarding aspects of Telehealth is the ability to work with more people throughout the United States, not just those who are able to come into our brick-and-mortar treatment center in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Due to state-by-state licensure regulations, therapists, psychologists, and registered dietitians all have slightly different permissions to practice in different states. All of our providers are licensed to treat any person with a primary residence anywhere in Arizona. Outside of Arizona, some of our therapists and psychologists (marked with *) and our registered dietitians (marked with ^) are able to serve people with primary residences in the following states:
