Attached to Food NO More! Healing Emotional Eating

**New in-person session starting October 1, 2024**

An unhealthy relationship with food doesn’t just happen. Whether excessively drawn to food since you were a child; using food as an adult for Self-soothing, comfort or to become numb; being caught in a demoralizing battle between needing food and denying food in a compulsive cycle of overeating-dieting-overeating-dieting; or chaotically binging and purging, the DRIVE toward food as an unconscious means to make your Self feel better or to desperately cope with the emotional, interpersonal, existential and historical aspects of your life, is REAL.

Thankfully, JUST as real is your ability to HEAL  whatever is driving your mis-use of food!

During this 8-week combined psychoeducational and gentle experiential interpersonal psychotherapy group, participants will come to readily understand:

  • WHAT has created your compulsive, subconscious mis-use of food.
  • WHY traditional Cognitive Behavioral-only therapeutic interventions are at-most 50% effective (hint: it’s not your fault!).
  • The 7 steps that will teach you HOW to create a healthy relationship with your Self that WILL heal your unhealthy relationship with food.

If you are struggling to feel the way you desperately want (and deserve) to feel about your Self, if you have tried endless ways to “fix” your Self and it hasn’t “worked,” If it’s finally time to be attunely shown how to effectively love and listen to your Self, your emotions and your body… then PLASE join me!

It is never too late to start your personal A New Beginning, despite whatever early beginnings you may have experienced.

This group is open to adult men and woman (18+ yrs) who are affected by Emotional Eating and who are ready to explore the underlying psychological roots of what has created your relationship with food.
