The Third Act: Life Transitions for Women 55+
**New in-person session starting September 10, 2024**
The “third act” of life refers to the years after mid-life, where you’re beginning to wind down from all the years spent building and sustaining family, marriage, and career.
Common experiences during this stage of life include: retirement, empty nest, divorce, widowhood, menopause, career changes, and aging bodies.
This 8-week group is open to adult women (55+ years) who are transitioning into or are already in their “third act” of life and struggling to find meaning, purpose, and inner peace as they navigate this new space. Group sessions will offer tools and resources to effectively navigate this time and these life experiences, while also providing time to connect vis-a-vis the sharing of third act life experiences.
Please note, you must be actively engaged in therapy with a provider at A New Beginning or elsewhere, while you are enrolled in this group. The group facilitator may request your authorization to coordinate care with your treating therapist.
Also, this is a closed group, which means it will be the same group of people for the duration of the 8 weeks. This allows for trust and safety amongst the group to be established. Because a seat is reserved for you for the full 8 weeks, you are financially committed to paying for each group session, even if you are unable to attend a session.
Prior to joining group, we kindly ask that you complete a free 30-minute assessment (in-person or Telehealth) with the group facilitator to ensure that this group is the right fit for you. Please contact our Client Care Coordinator to schedule this assessment ~ (480) 941-4247 or [email protected].
