Eating Disorder Family Education and Support Group

Is your loved one struggling with an eating disorder?

Do you feel overwhelmed, sad, or angry about how the eating disorder is affecting you and your family?

Do you wonder how you can best support your loved one through recovery?

If you answered “yes” to these questions, the Eating Disorder Education and Support Group is for you!

This group is designed to: (1) provide a safe and nurturing environment for parents and loved ones to explore their own feelings related to supporting someone through recovery; (2) educate participants about the biological, emotional, and social complexities of these illnesses; and (3) foster meaningful and supportive relationships with other people who understand this process. Throughout the session, participants will learn about the latest research on eating disorders, as well as how to create an environment that is conducive to their loved one’s recovery process.

This group is open to any adult (ages 18 and older) who is supporting someone with an eating disorder including: parents, spouses, grandparents, siblings, adult children, and friends. with each other.
